WHAT IS AN ENDOWMENT?
An endowment is an invested fund in which charitable contributions of property, assets, or funds are placed. These funds grow and produce income that is channeled to a specific goal. A gift to an endowment is a gift that, over time, keeps on giving. Endowments are created for non-profit organizations in support of a specific goal.
The Peanut Butter Endowment was created to purchase food to distrubte to our clients. Join us in the valuable cause by making a one-time or recurring endowment donation!
THE PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY RALLY
Each year, the Rock River Pantry kicks off the Spring season with our Peanut Butter and Jelly Rally. Starting May 1 and running through the middle of June we take aim at a goal of 20,000 jars of peanut butter (and jelly!) gathered to meet a basic food need for families with school-age children.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Just a donation of $20 will buy a 12-pack of 18-ounce jars of peanut butter!
And, if you’d like to host a PB&J Drive, please contact us for a collection barrel. We will drop off a barrel and when the drive is finished, collect it. We can even let you borrow our peanut butter jar costume to help kick off your drive!
